Our Mad-Academy Puppy School

Our Puppy Boot Camps are a series of 5 sessions held at a local venue, designed to cater for vaccinated puppies. They are a great way for your pup to meet plenty of doggo friends and people too.  Both parents and children are welcome so that the whole family can enjoy the experience and learn together.

The course content covers:

  • Socialisation, people, animals, sights sounds smells
  • Building Relationship with your pup
  • Creating maximum engagement and focus
  • Prep for walk, loose lead walking and recall
  • Essential obedience sit, stay, leave it etc
  • Problem prevention - Jumping up, Bite inhibition, Barking, separation anxiety

Our Virtual Puppy Pre-School

The first 12 weeks of a puppies life are a key development stage.  They acquire a great deal of knowledge and learn very quickly even at this tender age, so it's never too early to start training.

For unvaccinated puppies aged 8 to 12 weeks we offer a series of 4 weekly virtual classes via Zoom to set the foundation for a great start in life for your new puppy. The series of four online workshops cover vital topics that set the foundation for a happy, well behaved pup that's a joy to own.

The course content covers:

  • Socialisation - People dogs places sights sounds smells
  • Building Relationship through engagement and calm authoritative leadership
  • Feeding techniques to increase engagement and prevent resource guarding
  • Acclimatising to the lead and collar and the foundation of loose lead walking
  • Bite inhibition, chewing, toilet training
  • Introduction to recall
  • Introduction to basic commands

On completion of the course your pup will receive a graduation certificate and rosette.
