Our Dog Training

All our PIP's  (Pooch Improvement Plans)  are based on Positive Reinforcement Training of which we are enthusiastic advocates. They are fast fun and effective for both dog and owner, and we strive to equip and empower owners, to create a more enjoyable and rewarding relationship with their dog.

Let the fun begin!

Contrary to popular belief, training your dog can be fun, and easier than you think, and life with a well behaved pooch is so much less stressful, enjoyable and rewarding. Whether you have a brand new puppy, or the proverbial older dog that you can’t teach new tricks, our puppy and dog training plans are great fun, fast and effective whatever stage of life your dog is at.

A dog that responds well to commands, humans, other animals and has good manners really makes it a joy to own, and the earlier you start the better.

Puppy classes generally require the pup to be around 12 weeks old due to vaccination effectiveness, but pups are receptive to training from a very young age. The younger you start, the easier it is to avoid undesirable behaviours, and instil good habits.

Mature dogs can benefit greatly from effective training with increased positive behaviours, and a more rewarding experience for both dog and owner.

Our training plans are based on positive reward, praise, encouragement and approval. The only punishment we would ever use is the withholding of such rewards.

A dog is happiest when it is loved, well cared for, well exercised appropriately stimulated, but most importantly, just like a child, when it knows the limitations, boundaries and rules of good behaviour.
So whether you have a new puppy, or an older or mature dog requiring command training, or behavioural change, talk to us today, and let the fun begin!

Face to Face or Virtual Sessions - We are happy to provide one on one coaching in person or virtually, as we will be coaching you in the methods you need to employ to get the results you require. Puppy training programmes - Our puppy training plans cover all the essential skills to get off to a great start with your pup including our unique Socialisation technique / Sit / stay / recall / walk to heel / and toilet training. A well trained pup is a happy pup, and a happy owner too.

Behavioural change Many dogs end up in Dog Shelters and Rescue Centres through no fault of their own, purely because they were poorly trained, or not trained at all creating behavioural issues that owners couldn’t cope with.
